Raw Energy Bars Recipe.


If you want real, raw, cruelty-free, high quality, efficient and delicious energy bars - you've got 'em right here. These scrumptious raw energy bars are quick and easy to make, and amazingly healthy and filling snacks.
Ingredients:


  • 1 cup Almonds
  • 1/2 cup Pitted Dates (soak in boiling water to soften them up)
  • 1/3 cup Peanut Butter (or any nut butter)
  • 1/3 cup Goji Berries
  • 2 tablespoons Chia Seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey

To top:

  • Coconut Threads
  • Handful of Cranberries

To make:

  1. Grind the almonds in a food processor for about 30 seconds
  2. Add the dates and mix (I also like to add dried apricots, feel free to experiment with different dried fruits)
  3. Add peanut butter, goji berries, chia seeds and honey
  4. Line a baking tray with baking paper and press the mixture in. Ideally you want it to be about 1cm thick
  5. Sprinkle over cocoanut threads and cranberries, make sure you press the cranberries into the mixture to make them stick
  6. Leave in the fridge for an hour before cutting into bars
